STATE COLLEGE, PENN STATE - PENNSYLVANIA and The Tavern Restaurant

After Woodward Camp, The Woodward Cave and a late lunch in Millheim we headed to State College Pennsylvania, which is an hour away. State College is probably one of the cleanest cities I have been to in the US, filled with hotels, stores, nightlife and awesome restaurants. We stayed at the Days INN which is the home of the Mad Mex Restaurant and Bar. A beautiful patio and $1.00 Tacos :) After having a drink at the Mad Mex we enjoyed a walk around Penn State and stumble upon a great restaurant "The Tavern Restaurant" for a couple of late night drinks on the Patio. We were greeted by Eric the restaurant manager and were served by Trevor. What a pleasure to have Trevor as our server, he carried a great smile and shared his Woodward Camp Experiences with us. He also gave us a bit of history and information on State College and Penn State. If you ever do visit you must go to The Tavern Restaurant to enjoy a great meal, drinks and be served by great staff such as Eric and Trevor. By the way, "Happy Birthday Eric," Hope it was AWESOME! The next day we drove for two and a half hours and stumbled upon Holiday Valley, Ellicotville. Click Here for photos.
