MILLHEIM, PENNSYLVANIA

After visiting Woodward Cave we headed over to Millheim for lunch. Millheim is a cute little town and we really enjoyed the mussels and pasta at the "Original Italian Pizza Restaurant." After lunch we headed over to State College, Penn State which is an hour away. Click here for Photos.

WOODWARD CAVE, WOODWARD PENNSYLVANIA

If you are wondering what to do after the 6 hour drive dropping your child off at Camp Woodward, here is what we did.

After dropping Josh off at Woodward Camp we headed over to the Woodward Cave. Woodward Cave, also known as "The Big One" is one of the largest caves in Pennsylvania. It has 5 large rooms one of which is 200 feet long. It is 45ºF even in the hottest summer days so if you are planning a visit be sure to dress warm. The cost is $11.00 for a 45 minute guided tour. HOLIDAY VALLEY, ELLICOTVILLE, SKY HIGH ADVENTURES AND EBC RESTAURANT

After Camp Woodward, Woodward Cave, lunch in Millheim, & State College Pennsylvania we woke up at six AM and drove two and a half hours north. We stumbled upon Holiday Valley Ellicotville. What a great find :) We booked a room at The Inn at Holiday Valley and got a Tree Top Trekking package with the room. Within an hour of arriving we were on top of trees at the Sky High Adventures. What an awesome experience and the Zip Lines were amazing. Later on that evening we headed to Ellicotville and had drinks and dinner at the EBC (Ellicotville Brewing Company) Restaurant. They had a band playing on one side of the Patio and a fire going on the other. We did have to wait by the outside bar for a table inside (about 20 minutes) but it was worth while. The food was awesome. After a good night sleep and a 5am wake up we headed back to Canada and after an hour and a half reached Fort George in Niagara on the Lake. Click HERE for Photos.
